Dr. Knoblauch began her academic journey at Pittsburg State University, where she excelled as a member of the Sigma Tau National Honors Society, demonstrating her dedication to both academic achievement and leadership. She pursued her passion for eye care by earning her Doctor of Optometry degree at the University of Missouri-St. Louis (UMSL) College of Optometry. At UMSL, she was recognized for her academic excellence as part of the Beta Sigma Kappa National Honors Society.
During her training, Dr. Knoblauch gained invaluable clinical experience through internships at two prestigious institutions: the Pepose Vision Institute in St. Louis and the Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center in Wichita. These internships allowed her to refine her diagnostic and treatment skills, especially in complex cases, and provided a solid foundation for her practice.
Beyond her professional training, Dr. Knoblauch has a passion for community service and global outreach. While in college, she participated in a meaningful mission trip to Puerto Escondido, Mexico, where she provided medical care to local citizens, underscoring her commitment to helping others and broadening her understanding of eye care in diverse settings.
